How long does it take to learn to play the piano?
The answer may surprise you. It can take hours, days, weeks, or months. It all depends on you, the kind of teacher you have, and the amount of time you can devote to practicing. That doesn’t mean that you have to practice every minute of every day. It simply means that when you DO practice, you need to do it right. So let start from here piano lessons
Practice Tips For You Only
- Warm up. Try running through the 12 major scales. You can learn all the notes and build up speed.
- Work on the passages that give you the most trouble. Skip the parts you already know and perfect the measures that are the most difficult.
- Think about how a note sounds before you play it. This helps you with perfect pitch so that you know how the melody and chords should sound.
- Practice slowly, then build up speed. The most important thing is to get the notes and rhythms down. Once you’ve mastered the technique,
performing the song flawlessly at a faster pace will come much easier. - Use a metronome. Metronomes give you the exact tempo you need to perform a song correctly, and they help you build up speed at the correct pace. The more you use one, the better you will be at keeping time.
- Keep your eyes on the music. Try not to look down at your fingers; this helps you learn hand positions and focus on performing correctly. Its not ending point, you can check out more from this link piano for pattern reviews
At the end of a practice session, treat yourself by playing a favorite piece. Or making up your own music. You’ve worked hard and you deserve it. You should be having fun and feeling good about your accomplishments. So give yourself a reward in recognition of your efforts.

The complete BBC Radio 2 series from Perrier Award nominated duo Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement features Rob Brydon and Neil Finn .
‘Hello, I’m Rob Brydon . join me on an exciting musical journey in the company of a band who have come to mean an awful lot to me. They’re probably my fourth, or maybe even third, favourite novelty music act – Flight of the Conchords . ‘
The Perrier nominated Flight of the Conchords are currently being developed by HBO in America.
Flight of the Conchords are Bret McKenzie (guitar and vocals) and Jemaine Clement (vocals and guitar) and they’re New Zealand’s fourth best folk guitar-based jazz, techno, hip-hop duo. Over six episodes we follow their attempts to crack the UK’s novelty music scene with songs such as Frodo, Don’t Wear The Ring (‘Magical Bling Bling’), Fudofafa, Hiphopapotamus and Think About It (Think, Think About It).
The Conchords have travelled the world and become one of the best-loved double acts on the circuit. Having secured the talents of Rob Brydon, Daniel Kitson, Greg Proops, Nina Conti, Rhys Darby and Neil Finn , they can – for the first time – tell their story…
‘Superior wordplay, virtuoso musicality and superb banter – they’ve taken the comedy song to a whole new level’ Guardian
